You can search for poems, poets, background information, and just topics. And these tend to be more carefully transcribed and edited than some online collections. Several of the poems are also recorded, so you can hear them out loud.
New Yorker Poetry Podcast
Every month celebrated poet Paul Muldoon brings in a poet to read one of their own poems and another poem from a different poet’s works. They discuss the poems briefly and why they chose them. And, again, you can hear the poems out loud.
This is a site that focuses on medieval and early modern literature. You can find not just poems but also collected pamphlets, drama, biographies, and the occasional image. It’s not vetted like something from a university press or library might be, but generally the quality is good. Once you click into a particular era, you can search for something in particular.
